News about the new Evans Series

Hello my dear friends!

I know it's been a while between posts, but I'm doing my best to finish up the rough draft of the new Evans series. Yes, they are not done yet! Yay! I received so many requests to keep it going that I couldn't find the heart to put my beloved friends away forever. I'm just about done with the rough draft of the Evans Domination Series, Book One. As the readers of Sunshine Rising learned, there was a bit of a cliffhanger at the end, and sure enough, they have not finished their battle with the Mexican cartels.

So, what's the new book about? Well, without giving away the entire plot, I will say that they are searching for El Padrino (who, by the way, is not the real El Padrino who was arrested some time ago. I did not base my character on him at all, and I had never heard of him until I began researching this new book. I wanted to put that out there, just in case, LOL). Book One will be introducing some new characters who will be relevant in future books, but our favorite Evans characters do make an appearance. Zach is trying his hardest to handle El Padrino the legal way while Hayden, Andrew, and Ian are planning to go rogue. When Zach is called into a human trafficking case based in Tucson, he works hard to tie it back to El Padrino. Stay tuned for a frightening, yet very real, story to come.

With that being said, please watch out this summer for the new book, Hope Is Calling, The Evans Domination, Book One. We're looking at a late-June release date, but I'll post once it's ready to go.

I hope all of my friends are doing well, and thank you for your patience with me last year. I know I was only able to release two books instead of three, but I'm trying hard to make up for that this year. If only I could fix my back! Ugh.

Don't forget to stay tuned. I'm sending the information to my cover artist today, and hopefully she'll be working her magic in time for the June release.

Hugs to my readers out there! Take care.

Darn girl - I want to read it NOW. Sounds absolutely wonderful. I wonder how many of your readers know that El Padrino means Godfather? Have missed hearing from you.

Hi Judy,

You know what's so funny? When I researched Hope is Calling, I found a real El Padrino who was arrested years ago. I put a note in there saying that my character is not related to him at all, LOL. He's a figment of my imagination completely. I promise I'm still working on them. Hope is Calling is available now, and I'm writing book two, so there are more, this time dealing with human trafficking... Keep reading, my friend!

I cant wait to read your book but do take care of your back we would rather have 2 books a year and have you continue writing for many years than have 5 books which do you irreparable damage so take care and keep the books coming as and when you are able x

Collette I just finished book 7 of the Evans series, I can't wait to find out how the Evan's boys get to El Padrino. When can we expect book 8? I love your books.

Hi Carol,

So sorry for the tardy response here. The Evans Domination series started in June when I was back east visiting family, so I was a little slow posting all the links. Book two is out this week and next at the various outlets, and book three is in process for early next spring. So far, we have Hope is Calling, A Blessing in Disguise, and book three is untitled as of right now :D. Keep reading! I have plenty more to come!

Hi
After being introduced to your books by a friend in July, I have just finished book one of the domination but I have been unable to find book two, has there been a delay in publishing?

I have been totally gripped by all the books and after initially being told it was a trilogy I couldn't have been more delighted when I discovered they continued.

Keep up the great work and I hope your back is in the mend x

Hi
I realised on rereading your posts that the dates are switched (I'm UK based), therefore book two due this month! Can't wait, excited x

I love the Evans series. I can't believe how Collette has woven the cartel and how much she seems to know about it. Living in the southwest I see the dregs of the cartel all the time and it is really scarey. Keep up the Evans series, they are great people and I've come to really enjoy reading about them.

Hi Collette, I live in Albuquerque, not too distant from Phoenix. I know a little about Phoenix, I worked for several companies based out of Phoenix. My oldest son and his family lived in Queen Creek and Surprise for awhile and my granddaughter was born in Phoenix. Keep up the good work, I truly enjoy your books and look forward to many more. Best to you.

I've visited Albuquerque once, and I did the tram ride up the mountain (hyperventilating at the memory, LOL). Yes, we both are in the thick of it, aren't we? But I'm so pleased that you're having a great time with the stories, and I hope you continue to enjoy! Thank you for keeping in touch, and if you ever come out my way again, please let me know :D

Hi Collette, I just finished Sunshine Forever. Wow, what a love story between Cher and Brandon. I felt like they were my friends and cried like a baby when Brandon was killed. I love Cher, she is so sweet and now she knows she is strong. Thank you for such great books. I'm glad you are not ready to put the Evans family away yet, they are an awesome family. Keep up the great books I love them all.

Hi again Carol,

Oops on me for overlooking this comment! I LOVE Forever Sunshine. That book was very dear to my heart. I know it's a difficult book, but I consider it so important. I'm very glad that you read it, and as you know, Cher does move on with life. Tragedy is hard, but we always find a way to pick ourselves up and keep moving forward, don't we? XOXO
